Interchangeable Metering Rollers for Grass Seed Different metering rollers are available for different types and sizes of grass seed.
Selecting the appropriate metering roller helps achieve accurate application, particularly when working with small seeds and low seeding rates.
The metering roller can be changed without specialist tools, allowing the seeder to be quickly adapted when changing between grass seed, alfalfa, ryegrass, clover and other suitable seeds.
The 10-inch touchscreen control terminal allows the operator to monitor and adjust key seeding parameters from the tractor cab.
The system provides real-time information including seed level, working area and operating time. A dedicated one-touch calibration function makes seed-rate calibration testing quick, simple and hassle-free before heading into the field.
The control system works together with the metering drive and radar sensor to maintain the selected application rate during operation.
The selected metering roller and its rotational speed determine the application rate.
The YongXiang seeder uses a 12V stepless electric motor on 8-row, 12-row and dual 12-row configurations, while 16-row and 20-row models use a brushless motor.
The central control system continuously monitors and adjusts the metering drive according to the selected application rate and forward speed, helping maintain consistent seed delivery during operation.
Two 12V electric fans generate the airflow required to transport metered seed through the flexible seed tubes to the broadcast outlets.
The pneumatic delivery system provides an even flow of material across the working width, while protective mesh at the fan air intakes helps prevent straw and debris from entering the fan system.
An optional hydraulic fan provides additional airflow when the standard electric fan configuration is not sufficient.
It is suitable for wider working widths and higher application rates, depending on seed type and material characteristics.
Max. required pressure: 180 bar
Max. required oil quantity: 40L /min
Speed: 4,500 rpm
The radar sensor continuously measures forward speed and sends the speed signal to the control system.
The metering drive responds to changes in forward speed, helping maintain the selected application rate when the tractor slows down or increases speed.
This speed-responsive control supports consistent material application across changing field conditions.
Optional Seed Tube Blockage Monitoring
Optional seed tube blockage monitoring can detect interruptions in material flow through the seed tubes.
Sensors monitor material flow below the discharge points and provide an alert on the control terminal if a blockage or missed delivery is detected.
This gives the operator an additional check on seed delivery during operation.
A stainless-steel agitator is positioned above the metering roller to help maintain a consistent flow of material and reduce the risk of bridging in the hopper.
A low-level hopper sensor provides an instant alarm when the seed or fertilizer drops below the critical threshold, allowing the operator to plan refilling efficiently and prevent empty runs.
Independent Outlet Control
Each outlet can be opened or closed independently using the supplied L-shaped plugs.
This allows unused outlets to be closed when a narrower working width or different outlet configuration is required.
For example, an 8-outlet seeder can be configured with fewer active outlets to match the working width of the implement.
An optional lift switch automatically starts or stops metering when the implement is raised or lowered.
When the implement is raised, the metering system stops. When the implement is lowered again, metering resumes.
This helps prevent unwanted application during headland turns, transport and other raised-implement operations.
GPS Speed and Positioning
An optional GPS sensor can provide the vehicle's speed signal to the control system for speed-responsive metering.
An optional GPS positioning chip can provide positioning information for monitoring the seeder's field trajectory.
GPS positioning functionality is currently under overseas testing and should therefore be presented as an optional developing function rather than a fully established feature.
Real-Time Seeding Monitoring
An integrated camera allows the operator to monitor the seeding process from the touchscreen control terminal.
This provides an additional visual check during operation and helps the operator monitor the working condition of the metering system from the tractor cab.
Precision Broadcast Seeding The pneumatic grass seeder is designed for uniform broadcast distribution across the working width.
Standard broadcast heads with U-shaped brackets divide the seed flow across the selected working width. Stainless-steel outlets at the end of the seed tubes distribute the metered material evenly over the soil surface.
The system is particularly suited to grass seed and other small seeds where accurate metering and uniform lateral distribution are important.
Interchangeable metering rollers allow the seeder to be configured for different grass seeds and application rates.
Pneumatic seed delivery provides even material distribution across the working width.
The compact system can be mounted on a wide range of agricultural implements.
One-touch calibration makes seed-rate testing quick and straightforward before field operation.
