Seeing agricultural machinery in a field is often more valuable than simply seeing it on an exhibition stand. This was the approach taken by our Argentine distributor, CHALERO, during a recent field demonstration in Río Cuarto, where growers and agricultural professionals had the opportunity to see the equipment working under real field conditions.
The event brought together several local agricultural businesses and technology providers for a practical demonstration focused on soil conditioning and the establishment of cover crops. For CHALERO, the objective was clear: to demonstrate how modern machinery can help prepare the soil and establish a crop efficiently, while maintaining the benefits of established farming practices.
A key part of the demonstration was CHALERO's equipment combined with the YongXiang precision pneumatic seeder. The system is designed to integrate seeding into soil-conditioning operations, allowing cover crops to be established during the same field pass. The demonstrated equipment is capable of covering around 7–8 hectares per hour, depending on field conditions.
The YongXiang seeding system brings precision and flexibility to this type of application. Its pneumatic seed delivery and electronically controlled metering system are designed to provide consistent seed distribution, while radar-based speed sensing helps keep the seeding rate synchronised with forward speed.
CHALERO's GREEN pneumatic seeder is designed for a wide range of crops and cover crops, including ryegrass, canola, clover, alfalfa, vetch, soybean, wheat, rye, barley, oats and sorghum. Its equipment configuration includes a tablet monitor, radar speed sensing, GPS, camera and seed-tube blockage and hopper-level monitoring, providing operators with greater control over the seeding process.
For YongXiang, field demonstrations such as this are an important part of developing practical precision seeding solutions for different agricultural markets. Conditions in Argentina can vary considerably between regions and farming systems, making flexibility and dependable field performance essential.
Working closely with CHALERO allows us to bring local experience directly into product development and application. Rather than developing equipment in isolation, we believe that the best pneumatic seeders and air seeders are developed through continuous interaction with the people who use them in the field.
We would like to thank CHALERO, the participating producers and everyone who joined the demonstration and shared their experience.
The field is where technology has to perform. And for YongXiang, that is where precision seeding begins.
