2BFG-B-C Series
YongXiang
Key Benefits
Distributes grass seed evenly across the working width rather than placing seed in individual rows.
Combines grass seed metering and fertilizer application in one field operation.
Reclamation-style rotary tiller blades provide effective soil loosening, crumbling and residue incorporation.
Provides reliable roller rotation in wet soil while reducing clogging and sliding.
The toothed roller creates a lightly indented soil surface that can help retain rainfall and reduce surface runoff.
Combines soil preparation, fertilizer application, broadcast seeding and reconsolidation in one pass.
The 2BFG-B-C Series integrates fertilizer application, rotary tillage, pneumatic grass seed broadcasting and soil reconsolidation into a single field operation.
Fertilizer is applied ahead of the rotary tiller and incorporated into the soil during rotary tillage. The prepared seedbed is then followed by pneumatic broadcast distribution of grass seed across the full working width.
Finally, the toothed packer roller reconsolidates the seedbed while creating a lightly structured soil surface that can help retain rainfall and reduce surface runoff.
This sequence combines fertilizer application, soil preparation, full-width grass seed broadcasting and reconsolidation in one pass.
The 2BFG-B-C Series is equipped with heavy-duty reclamation-style rotary tiller blades developed for intensive soil preparation before grass seed broadcasting.
Compared with conventional rotary tiller blades used on the standard models, the heavier blade configuration is designed to provide effective soil penetration, crumbling and mixing across the working width.
The blades help break up compacted soil, incorporate plant residues and prepare a fine, level seedbed before grass seed is broadcast. This creates a more consistent soil surface for subsequent seed distribution and reconsolidation.
The result is a well-prepared seedbed with a suitable balance between soil loosening, crumbling and surface consolidation.
The 2BFG-B-C Series uses dedicated broadcast outlets to distribute grass seed across the full working width.
Metered grass seed is pneumatically conveyed from the metering system to multiple broadcast outlets and spread over the prepared soil surface.
This configuration is particularly suited to grass seed and other small seeds where uniform distribution across the working width is more important than individual row placement.
Grass seed is metered through the pneumatic metering system and delivered to the broadcast outlets by airflow.
Interchangeable metering rollers allow the system to be configured for different seed types and application rates. The electric metering drive works with the speed radar to maintain the selected application rate as forward speed changes.
One-touch calibration allows the operator to complete a calibration test quickly before field operation.
The fertilizer system operates alongside the grass seed metering system, allowing fertilizer to be applied during the same field operation.
Separate seed and fertilizer metering systems provide independent control of the two materials and allow the application rates to be adjusted according to crop and field requirements.
This one-pass configuration reduces the need for separate fertilizer and grass seeding operations.
Toothed Packer Roller for Wet and Variable Soil Conditions The toothed packer roller is specifically suited to demanding soil conditions where a smooth roller may have a greater tendency to accumulate soil or lose traction.
Its toothed profile provides a positive driving effect, helping the roller maintain rotation in wet conditions and reducing the tendency to clog or slide across the soil surface. This type of self-driving and self-cleaning effect is also recognised in European roller designs for wet and sticky soil conditions.
At the same time, the teeth create a lightly textured and indented soil surface after rolling. These small depressions can help retain rainfall close to the soil surface rather than allowing water to run off immediately, which can help reduce surface runoff and the risk of soil erosion.
The roller therefore performs two functions: reliable consolidation of the seedbed and improved surface water management.

Interchangeable metering rollers allow the machine to be configured for different seed types and application rates.
This makes the system suitable for grass seed and other small-seeded materials commonly used for pasture establishment, grassland renovation and cover cropping.
The 10-inch control console allows the operator to monitor and adjust key seeding parameters from the tractor cab.
The system provides access to application-rate settings, calibration functions, hopper-level information and other key operating data.
A straightforward calibration function allows the operator to check and adjust the application rate before field operation.
The seed and fertilizer systems use independent metering units, allowing the two materials to be controlled and adjusted separately according to their respective application rates.
The selected metering roller and its rotational speed determine the material application rate. Each metering system uses an electric drive controlled by the central control system, with metering speed adjusted according to the selected application rate and forward speed.
The speed-responsive control helps maintain consistent seed and fertilizer delivery as field speed changes. Interchangeable metering rollers can be selected for different grass seed types and application requirements, providing flexibility when adjusting seed and fertilizer rates.
The YongXiang seeder uses a 12V stepper motor on 8-row, 12-row and dual 12-row configurations, while 16-row and 20-row models use an outer-rotor BLDC servo motor.
12V electric fans generate the airflow required to transport metered grass seed through the seed lines to the broadcast outlets.
The pneumatic delivery system provides an even flow of material across the working width. Protective mesh at the fan air intakes helps prevent straw and debris from entering the fan system.
The radar sensor continuously measures forward speed and sends the speed signal to the control system.
The metering drive responds to changes in forward speed, helping maintain the selected application rate when the tractor slows down or accelerates.
This speed-responsive control supports consistent material application across changing field conditions.
Optional Seed Tube Blockage Monitoring
Optional seed tube blockage monitoring detects interruptions in material flow through the seed tubes.
Sensors monitor material flow below the discharge points and provide an alert on the control terminal if a blockage or missed delivery is detected.
This gives the operator an additional check on seed delivery and helps identify problems quickly during operation.
An agitator positioned above the metering roller helps maintain a consistent material flow and reduce the risk of bridging in the hopper.
A low-level hopper sensor provides an alarm when the material level falls below the set threshold, allowing the operator to plan refilling and avoid unnecessary empty runs.
Flexible Outlet Configuration
Each outlet can be opened or closed independently using the supplied L-shaped plugs.
This allows the number of active outlets to be matched to the required working width and row configuration.
For example, an 8-outlet configuration can be adjusted to use fewer active outlets when a narrower working width is required.
The lift switch kit automatically starts or stops metering according to the position of the implement.
When the implement is raised, the metering system stops automatically. When the implement is lowered again, metering resumes.
This provides automatic start/stop control during headland turns, transport and other raised-implement operations.
Optional GPS Speed and Positioning
An optional GPS sensor can provide the vehicle's speed signal to the control system for speed-responsive metering.GPS speed data can be used as an alternative to radar speed signal.
An optional GPS positioning chip can provide positioning information for monitoring the seeder's field trajectory.
GPS positioning functionality is currently under overseas testing and should therefore be regarded as an optional developing function rather than a fully established feature.
Real-Time Seeding Monitoring
An integrated camera allows the operator to monitor the seeding process from the control console.
This provides an additional visual check during operation and helps the operator monitor the working condition of the seeding system from the tractor cab.
